The project involves one organisation from each of three countries.
Holdkő Kulturális Alapítvány is our Hungarian partner – a foundation that works as a drama expert in the Becoming Parents project. Holdkő Foundation's mission is: Working to create more happy, independent, connected, resilient, responsible, active, creative, brave, peaceful, safe and free – children, adults, individuals and communities who share the values of democracy. To this end, we hold sessions for children in school settings and individually, and organise camps during the holidays. We organise thematic clubs, workshops, trainings for adults, conduct professional trainings and develop curricula. We cooperate with our Hungarian and foreign partners. Our main tools are: drama, music and games.
Gesob is an Austrian NGO. The founding of the Society for Social Research and Education (GeSoB) coincides with a period of economic crisis and social upheaval of global character. We can speak of a turn of an era, in which solutions and concepts chosen so far have proven inadequate, in which new theoretical and practical questions have arisen that call for innovative social answers to the pressing socio-political, cultural and economic questions facing actors in the fields of society, politics, economics and education. In this context, GeSoB makes its contribution with social innovations based on interdisciplinary research that combines theory with practice, basic research with applied research that analyzes and overcomes the contradictions fed by social, regional, national and transnational interdependencies. Only diversity of methods is appropriate in a research program designed in this way. Our main approaches are: symbolarbeit, storytelling, working with nature. Our main target group are youth and women, but we are working with different stakeholders and groups in several different projects.
